In the first poll conducted entirely after Joe Biden announced he is running for president, he appears to hold a commanding lead among the 21 candidates vying for the Democratic nomination.

The CNN poll surveyed Democratic voters and Democratic-leaning independents and shows Biden’s announcement gave him an 11-point bump. Nationwide, 39% surveyed said that the former vice president is their top pick for president, that is up from 28% who said he was their first choice when the same poll was conducted in March.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., came in second with 15% of those surveyed. All the other candidates were in the single digits. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., brought in 8% support, while South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke garnered 7% and 6% support, respectively.
