Russian strikes kills more than 40 Ukrainians

Russian strikes hit a military educational facility in Poltava, Ukraine, killing more than 40 people and injuring more than 180 others, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday.

Two ballistic missiles hit the facility, Zelensky said of the preliminary information available, which resulted in one of the deadliest attacks on Ukraine since Russia began its full-scale invasion back in February 2022. He noted that people were trapped under the rubble of the building and rescue operations were underway.
