Pentagon breaks ground on transportable nuclear reactor project

The Department of Defense announced Tuesday that it broke ground on the Project Pele transportable nuclear reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory.

BWXT Advanced Technologies is manufacturing the reactor under a Strategic Capabilities Office initiative.
