The United States put a $10 million bounty on the heads of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The State Department said it would reward information on 14 heads of the Guard and its allies, including Iranian Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei and the Guard’s Commander-in-Chief Ahmad Vahidi, the man widely believed to be the de facto leader of Iran. Notably, of the 14 listed, five only included the position and not a name, highlighting the dearth of intelligence on Iran’s new leadership after many of its former senior leadership were killed in the opening hours of Operation Epic Fury and Israel’s Roaring Lion.
