Reporting on its latest poll with ABC News, the Washington Post notes that Americans, including the president’s base, are “unhappy” with Barack Obama’s performance on jobs and the economy. Congressional Republicans, the Post writes, are also blamed for the poor economy and lack of jobs:
Since April 2008, the average level of dissatisfaction with the economy in the Post poll has been 90 percent, with the highest level of dissatisfaction at 94 percent in January 2009 (right before Obama’s inauguration) and the lowest level at 87 percent in January 2011 (right as the current Congress’s term started).
