UMBC ranked top ‘up-and-comer’ among colleges

There’s no stealing the top spots from Harvard and Princeton, when it comes to the U.S. News & World Report rankings. But Georgetown University sat pretty at 22nd in the nation, followed by University of Virginia at 25th and and College of William and Mary at 33rd. George Washington snuck in the top vessel at 50th. For the fourth year, U.S. News identified colleges “making the most promising and innovative changes in the area of academics, faculty, and student life.” Top “up-and-comer”?
