BALTIMORE (AP) — The provost of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore is becoming the dean of the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lloyd Minor’s appointment was announced Wednesday. Minor, a head and neck surgeon who received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University, has spent nearly two decades at Hopkins. He has been provost and senior vice president for academic affairs for the past three years.
