Students to participate in mock government

More than 30 Anne Arundel high schoolers will follow county officials for a day as part of a student model-government event.

The students will shadow elected officials and department heads, such as the police chief and planning director, on various days and will conclude the exercise with a mock County Council meeting Feb. 17.
