Gas prices increased for the second straight day on Thursday.
The average price in the country for a gallon of regular-grade gasoline is $3.46, according to AAA. This is slightly more expensive than on Wednesday, when prices stood at $3.454 per gallon. Both prices are higher than Tuesday, when the price of a gallon of regular gas was $3.441. It is the first time gas prices have increased on consecutive days since before Memorial Day weekend.
