Gas prices increased for a third straight day on Friday as the average price for a gallon of regular gas slightly increased to $3.456 per gallon, according to AAA. This was an increase from yesterday’s price of $3.455.

Gas prices are ever-so-slightly cheaper than a week ago, when they cost $3.459 for a gallon of regular. A month ago, gas was more expensive, with regular gas costing $3.598 per gallon, while a year ago, it was $3.581 per gallon.
