While most SSI payments are issued on the first of every month, November payments will be issued the day before November starts, Oct. 31, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year. When the first day of a month falls on a weekend or a holiday, SSI payments go out on the last day of the previous month that isn’t a weekend.
