November Social Security direct payment worth $967 goes out in nine days

Published

November Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $967, will be issued to recipients in nine days.

While most SSI payments are issued on the first of every month, November payments will be issued the day before the new month starts, on Oct. 31, since Nov. 1 falls on a weekend this year. When the first day of a month falls on a weekend or a holiday, SSI payments go out on the last day of the previous month that isn’t a weekend.
