State Obamacare exchanges unlikely to make deadline, GAO says

All 17 states and the District of Columbia that are preparing Obamacare health insurance exchanges are behind schedule and in danger of not having their programs ready by the looming July 31 deadline.

Consumers are supposed to be able to begin using the exchanges on Oct. 1, 2013, but a new report from the Government Accountability Office said the best-performing state, Idaho, has only completed half of the tasks to make the deadline.
