Senator Jeff Sessions, a Republican from Alabama, defended presidential candidate Ted Cruz at a rally last night in Alabama:

“Let me tell you, I was there every step of the way,” Sessions says of the 2013 immigration bill. “Ted Cruz was on my side, fought this legislation all the way through.”
