Poll: No, Obama doesn’t have authority to grant amnesty

Already under attack in courts to mapping a plan to exempt up to 5 million illegal immigrants from deportation, now the public has turned on President Obama, with the highest number ever saying that he doesn’t have the legal authority to do what he wants.

A new Rasmussen Reports poll released Tuesday said that 59 percent of voters believe the president doesn’t have legal standing while just 25 percent say he does. “That’s up from 52 percent in February and a high to date,” said the poll analysis.
