ICE officer struck by fleeing vehicle in New Jersey

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer was struck by a fleeing vehicle in New Jersey while trying to apprehend a suspect, who remains at-large. 

The incident occurred on Route 72 in the township of Manahawkin, New Jersey, according to the Stafford Township Police Department. The report said the incident occurred Monday morning, after a suspect fled from law enforcement, hitting one officer with a vehicle. In response, the officer fired at the car.
