New York gets $48M to protect bridges from erosion

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York is receiving $47.8 million to “harden” its bridges against erosion.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday that the state is receiving the money from the federal government to protect 20 bridges that are vulnerable to foundation erosion.
