BOSTON (Legal Newsline) – Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey said on Thursday that her office will investigate Anthem, Inc. after customers of the health insurance company allegedly had their personal information stolen as part of a data breach.
Anthem also is investigating the matter after hackers accessed its IT system, which includes information on current and former customers as well as company employees. The information included birthdays, names, medical and social security numbers, email addresses, street addresses and income information.
