President Obama will head to Tampa this week to meet with U.S. military commanders who will likely be involved in American efforts to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.
The president will spend Tuesday night in Tampa, the White House announced Sunday afternoon. On Wednesday, Obama will meet with top brass at U.S. Central Command, who manage military operations in the Middle East and central and south Asia.
