SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in the predawn hours of Tuesday, deploying 29 Starlink Broadband satellites.

Coming off the popularity of rocket launches amid the recent Artemis II launch, Floridians woke up early on Tuesday to watch the display. SpaceX routinely launches new satellites for its internet service, with Tuesday’s launch being the 26th time it’s used the Falcon 9 first-stage booster. The launch is SpaceX’s 27th launch from Florida in 2026.

The launch countdown began 39 minutes earlier at 5:33 a.m.

Brevard County Emergency Management officials deactivated their launch operations support team six minutes after the launch, indicating its success.

Several social media users posted images of the display created by the rocket launch across the U.S.

SpaceX confirmed the successful deployment of the satellites just over an hour after the launch.
