A terror attack in a crowded London tube train left at least 18 hospitalized Friday morning, according to multiple reports.
Local police described the device responsible as an “improvised explosive,” and people present at the Parsons Green station described the explosion as a “fireball.” Photos and videos showed a bucket inside of what looking like a freezer bag, with fire and wires stemming out. No one at the site was reported severely injured.
Some reports said the explosive had a timer rigged to it, and that it did not fully detonate.

President Donald Trump said on Friday that the attack was carried out by a “loser terrorist” and urged cracking down on extremist recruitment and a broader travel ban:
Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!

Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!

The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific-but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!

The explosion is the fifth terror attack in the United Kingdom in the last year. The terror threat level in the country is listed as “severe.”
