“If Bernie Sanders gets elected president, I’m fleeing,” O’Reilly told Ed Henry. “I’m going to Ireland.”
“They already know. I shouldn’t say it publicly, that’ll get Sanders more votes,” O’Reilly said during his show, “The O’Reilly Factor.”
“I’m not going to pay 90 percent of my income to that guy,” O’Reilly said. “I’m sorry, I’m not doing it.”
O’Reilly also defended Chelsea Clinton’s criticisms of Sanders, which have been criticized as misleading. Henry also criticized her take.
Clinton said this week that Sanders wants to “dismantle” the Affordable Care Act known as Obamacare. O’Reilly appeared to think it was a fair argument.
“He wants to dismantle it in the sense that it would be Berniecare and it would be much more than it is now,” O’Reilly said.
