It seems Michelle Obama really does cares about the little people.
After her appearance on “Sesame Street” in September, the first lady has stayed in touch with a child actor and model from the show, Fatima Ptacek, as a pen pal.
“Sometimes we send letters to each other saying hello,” Fatima said of her relationship with Obama to Maggie Rodriguez on the CBS “Early Show.”
A very sophisticated 9-year-old, Fatima described the first lady as “very sweet, very down-to-earth.” The child star isn’t doing so bad herself — she is reported to be making about $250,000 a year.
