Bernie Sanders is closing in on Hillary Clinton, and now trails Clinton by just six points nationally.

The latest NBC News/SurveyMonkey weekly online tracking poll says Clinton is just barely ahead of Sanders, 49-43, among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters. Those numbers came out just after Sanders chalked up wins in Washington, Alaska and Hawaii.

Just last week, Clinton was ahead by 21 points, 52-31. Since the beginning of March, Clinton has dropped by a total of six points, while Sanders has gained five.

Sixty-four percent of Democrats said they are “absolutely certain” they will vote for the candidate they selected in their state’s primary or caucus in the general election.

The survey also found that among all voters, should Trump and Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton be the candidates in November, 45 percent would be satisfied with that. However, another 32 percent said they would seriously consider voting for a third party candidate and another 21 percent said they did not know.

The poll was conducted online from March 21-27, surveying a total sample of 6,521 adults nationwide with an overall margin of error of plus or minus 1.6 percentage points, including 1,922 Democratic registered voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
