One surgically altered face we missed at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner was that of Joan Rivers, who walked the red carpet and dished out fashion advice, decked in feathers at last year’s affair. But Rivers’ fans need not fret, the “Fashion Police” host and reality TV star will be visiting D.C. next month to talk about her new book, “I Hate Everyone… Starting with Me.” While Rivers specialty is ripping celebrities to shreds, she doesn’t hold back when it comes to politicians either. “I just heard five words that are music to every woman’s ears: Newt Gingrich is pulling out,” she tweeted earlier this week. On June 11, Rivers will be interviewed by Time columnist Joel Stein at the Sixth & I Synagogue starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets went on sale this week. Sixth & I will also be hosting actress Sissy Spacek on May 6 and former Secretary of State Colin Powell on May 29 to give book talks as well.
