On Tuesday, Vice President Biden visited Philadelphia’s storied 30th Street Station to announce a six-year plan to build a national high-speed rail network. Biden, nicknamed “Amtrak Joe” for choosing to take the train back and forth from Wilmington, Del., to Washington during the years he served as U.S. senator, also offered some interesting figures about how many times he’s taken the train. Here are the numbers: 7,900 – Number of round trips Biden has taken aboard Amtrak
150 – Number of minutes a round trip from Wilmington to Washington takes aboard the Amtrak Acela Express
2.25 – Minimum number of years of his life Biden has spent aboard an Amtrak train, by our calculations
