Isabella hosting popup at Graffiato for new restaurant ‘G’

Mike Isabella fans can get a first taste of G, one of the “Top Chef” alum’s forthcoming 14th Street eateries, as Isabella’s Graffiato turns into a popup sandwich shop next week. The first floor of Graffiato will transform into G during the lunch hours of 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., from Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 17. Sandwiches to eat-in or take-out include the chicken parmigiano, the roast suckling sub and–for veggie lovers–the roasted cauliflower and the peperonata. The popup is not accepting reservations.

G is expected to open in early summer along with its next door neighbor Kapnos, Isabella’s first foray into Greek cuisine. At G, diners can enjoy sandwiches during lunchtime and will be served a four-course Italian tasting menu at dinner.
