A startling moment occurred late Sunday afternoon in San Antonio, at an event where presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was speaking. The stage set-up behind her collapsed and appeared to fall directly on her.
The former Hewlett-Packard chairwoman was unharmed.
The audience of the event, a women business owners’ summit, was startled when the stage collapsed. After it happened, an audience member yelled: “Trump!”
“Trump, Hillary — it could’ve been lots of people,” Fiorina replied wryly, reports Patrick Svitek, a journalist with the Houston Chronicle.
