Washington Times editor Emily Miller engaged Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville on Twitter last week with some highly important questions: What did he wear to the State Dinner, and why does it take so long for Downton Abbey to air in the U.S.? Answers: Black tie, and probably conflicts with Masterpiece. Bonneville blamed “differing time-slot/scheduling needs for the show’s U.S. co-producer [PBS].” Good to know, but that won’t make season three get here any faster.
