Terry McAuliffe, former campaign chair for Hillary Clinton and chair of the DNC, says his old boss is getting a fair shake in the media. “The press — not all the press — they vilified her,” he said of Clinton’s 2008 presidential run. “They didn’t see the personal side, the warmth, her sense of humor.”
McAuliffe is thrilled with Clinton’s strong approval ratings and recent pop culture hits (Texts from Hillary, anyone?). “I’ve had Republicans say to me they wish they’d voted for her,” he said.
