Trump to Rubio: ‘I guarantee you there’s no problem’ with bodily size

Donald Trump told Sen. Marco Rubio that his hand size does not correspond to the the size of his genitalia, giving viewers a “guarantee” that there is “no problem” during Thursday’s GOP debate.

Trump responded to Rubio directly after the Florida senator argued that if any candidate should be mocked, it should be Trump after he went after candidates on the debate stage and the “disabled.” Trump pushed back, saying that he takes back calling Rubio a “lightweight” before delving into Sunday’s attacks from Rubio while he was on the campaign trail in Virginia.

“This campaign, for the last year, Donald Trump has basically mocked everybody with personal attacks. He’s done so to people sitting on the stage today. He’s done so to people who are disabled. He’s done it with every other candidate in this race,” Rubio said. “So if there’s any candidate that’s deserved to be attacked that way, it’s been Donald Trump for the way he’s treated people for the last campaign.

“Now that said, I would much prefer to have a policy debate. I hope that’s what we’ll have here tonight. Let’s have a policy debate. Let’s talk about Donald Trump’s strategy, and my strategy, and Ted’s strategy, and John Kasich’s strategy when it comes to ISIS, and on healthcare and the important issues facing this country,” Rubio said. “But let’s be honest about this — the media has given these personal attacks that Donald has made an incredible amount about of coverage. Let’s start talking again about the issues that matter to the country. Lets ready to start doing that right here, right now tonight.”

Trump fired back in typical fashion, noting that nobody in the past has “hit my hands” for their diminutive shape and size.

“I also happen to call him a lightweight — OK? And I have said that, so I’d like to take that back. He’s really not that much of a lightweight,” Trump said initially.

“And as far as — and I have to say this. I have to say this — he hit my hands,” Trump said. “Nobody has ever hit my hands. I’ve never heard this one. Look at my hands — are they small hands? And he referred to my hands — if they’re small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee it.”
