Sure, he prefaced his speech with an I’m-not-a-candidate-yet announcement, Donald Trump’s remarks Thursday afternoon at the Conservative Political Action Conference sounded like the the start of a stump speech. The Donald, getting a “you’re hired” from an audience member as he approached the podium, outlined what a Trump platform would look like: pro-life, against gun control, against ObamaCare and he promised to not raise taxes.
“I wish there was a candidate I thought that would be fantastic because I love what I’m doing,” Trump admitted. The audience responded with shouts of “Ron Paul.”
