The White House announced Tuesday that first lady Michelle Obama will lead the official U.S. delegation in the Olympic opening ceremonies in London this summer. She follows former first ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton in this position.
But don’t expect to see the first lady in a designer windsuit walking around the track. U.S. Olympic Committee spokesperson Mark Jones confirms to Yeas & Nays that Ralph Lauren is designing the delegation’s opening and closing ceremony outfits, but Michelle will be “definitely in her own gear.”
