Ben Carson broke with Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump insulting Ted Cruz’s wife and threatening to “spill the beans” about her.
Explain how the women on The View, which is a total disaster since the great Barbara Walters left, ever got their jobs. @abc is wasting time

Appearing on “The View,” Carson told the hosts that he doesn’t “condone” Trump’s attacks on the wife of Heidi Cruz. Late Wednesday night, Trump retweeted a side-by-side picture of his wife Melania and an unflattering image of Mrs. Cruz, which read “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
“I do not condone any of that. I don’t condone it for anybody,” Carson told host Michelle Collins, who asked Carson if along with his endorsement comes an endorsement of Trump’s behavior.
“The endorsement is not an endorsement of anything that anybody has ever said or done throughout their lives,” Carson said, going back to explaining why he endorsed Trump.
Throughout the segment, host Whoopi Goldberg told Carson that the real estate mogul was a “racist,” pointing to his comments throughout the campaign and she said she was baffled as to how Carson could support him. Apparently Trump was watching and fired off a tweet soon after, wondering how anyone on the show got their jobs.
The candidates’ wives became an issue ahead of Tuesday’s Utah caucus when the Make America Awesome super PAC ran a Facebook ad featuring a nude shoot done by Melania Trump. The ad read in meme style “Meet Melania Trump, Your Next First Lady” across the top, with the bottom of the ad reading “Or, You Could Support Ted Cruz on Tuesday.”
Trump went nuclear when he saw the ad, blaming Cruz directly even though the Texas senator’s campaign repeatedly has said they had no involvement.
