Jeb Bush on Friday rolled out endorsements from 11 Republican Florida congressmen plus three top Sunshine State elected officials ahead of the official launch of his presidential campaign on Monday.

Bush, who served two terms as Florida from 1999 to 2007, is expected to have a lock on the Republican establishment in his home state, although he faces stiff competition in the presidential primary from Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, his Miami neighbor. That institutional support has begun to take shape, with Florida Attorney General Pam Biondi, the state’s elected Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater and Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam all endorsing Bush.

“It’s an honor to receive such a strong show of support from some of Florida’s finest elected officials who’ve dedicated their lives to creating opportunities for Floridians to achieve earned success. Our state reflects a 21st Century America, and serves as an example for the rest of the nation in how to clean up the mess in Washington, D.C.,” Bush said in a statement released by his campaign.

Additional backing was announced from Florida Republican Reps. Gus Bilirakis, Vern Buchanan, Ander Crenshaw, Carlos Curbelo, Mario Diaz Balart, David Jolly, Jeff Miller, John Mica, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Dennis Ross and Daniel Webster.
