It was too weird to be true. On Monday, some of D.C.’s local real estate blogs picked up a report saying that R&B singer R. Kelly was interested in renting a one-bedroom apartment on Capitol Hill, citing a posting on what looked to be Kelly’s personal Facebook page.
Yeah, not so much. When Yeas & Nays touched base with his rep, she informed us that that Facebook account is a fake. Kelly has no intention of living in the District anytime soon.

That being said, the singer will be performing two concerts in the area this week. He’ll be in Baltimore Friday and Washington Saturday.
