Donald Trump has expanded his lead in New Hampshire while Sen. Marco Rubio is in a distant second place, according to a new poll from Fox News.
According to the poll, Trump is at 33 percent and Rubio is at 15 percent. Following them are Sen. Ted Cruz at 12 percent, former Gov. Jeb Bush at 9 percent, Ohio Gov. John Kasich ay 7 percent, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 5 percent.
In the same poll taken in November, Trump was at 27 percent and Rubio trailed with 13 percent. The big mover in the race was Ben Carson, who commanded 9 percent of the vote in November and has now dropped to just 4 percent.
The survey confirms the resilence of Trump in New Hampshire, but is also interesting because Christie, who is challenging Rubio in double digits on other polls of the state, was in a tie for sixth place in the Fox poll. Trump is currently second on the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings, while Rubio sits at No. 3.
The poll was taken Jan. 4-7 and has a margin of error of 4.5 percent.
