Movie responsible for new D.C. slang

It seems D.C. has adopted Hollywood’s new code name for the White House. “Olympus has not fallen,” Talking Points Memo’s assistant editor, Igor Bobic, tweeted Tuesday, responding to a false report of two explosions at the White House that a hacker sent from the Associated Press’ official Twitter account. Bobic and incredulous D.C. reporters who retweeted him had clearly seen “Olympus Has Fallen,” which opened last month, in which terrorists physically take over the White House.
