Obama vacation spurs attack sites

It’s time to freak out about President Obama‘s annual vacation to Martha’s Vineyard again. For their part, the GOP is mixing a little humor with their criticism. They’ve launched a new site, Obamagetaway.com, where visitors can plug in captions on postcards featuring photos of the president sipping slurpees, dipping in the pool or playing golf. But slightly less lighthearted jabs at the Commander in Chief are coming from GOP presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney, who said Tuesday that “if you’re the president of the United States, and the nation is in crisis, and we’re in a jobs crisis right now, then you shouldn’t be out vacationing. Instead, you should be focusing on getting the economy going again.” Romney is actually visiting Martha’s Vineyard himself on Aug. 27 for a fundraiser in Edgartown— on the opposite side of the island — and his campaign said his stop was just “part of the work of being the candidate.”
