Vice President Joe Biden subtly jabbed Democratic presidential primary candidate Bernie Sanders’ economic policies while speaking at the World Economic forum in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday.
“We need a more progressive tax code — not confiscatory policy. Not socialism. A tax code,” Biden said while speaking at the forum Wednesday.

His remarks slighting the socialist senator’s economic proposals come just eight days after he appeared to compliment Sanders at Hillary Clinton’s expense.
“Bernie is speaking to a yearning that is deep and real. And he has credibility on it,” Biden said of Sanders’ plans to fight economic inequality, during a CNN interview last Tuesday, adding, “It’s relatively new for Hillary to talk about that,”
The vice president has yet to endorse either candidate in the primary.
