Five-time NBA champion and former “Celebrity Apprentice” star Dennis Rodman has come to Donald Trump’s defense by slamming Sen. Ted Cruz.

Rodman’s tweet came in response to Cruz jabbing Trump during Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate. “In 2013, when I was fighting against the ‘Gang of Eight’ amnesty bill, where was Donald? He was firing Dennis Rodman on ‘Celebrity Apprentice,'” Cruz said during the debate.
Rodman pledged his support for Trump in July 2015 and is a longtime supporter of the bombastic billionaire.
