Michaele ‘defamed’ and ‘degraded’

Michaele Salahi and her “D.C. Housewives” cast mates appeared on “The View” Wednesday morning and it has been drama, drama, drama ever since.

During the segment, as hosts Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar were questioning Salahi, Whoopi Goldberg walked on set, touched Salahi’s back and encouraged her to talk about the White House dinner-crashing incident. This, apparently fueled an f-bomb-laced altercation backstage between Goldberg and both Michaele and Tareq Salahi.

On Thursday, the Salahis’ new lawyer, Lisa Bloom, issued a long-winded statement explaining the incident, calling Michaele Salahi’s experience on “The View” both “degrading and demeaning.”

Goldberg fired back, too. “I make no apology for my choice words,” the host said about the backstage shouting match.

And in classic Salahi lawsuit-loving fashion, Bloom said calling Michaele Salahi a “party crasher” on “The View” was false and defamatory and could be cause for legal action.

“All possibilities are open,” Bloom told Yeas & Nays. “I think there is a legal case for defamation.”
