South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford was spotted at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday sneaking his way over to a VIP speakers’ box.
Sanford was in the District for the annual National Governors Association meeting, but told reporters he came to the conference to meet a friend from graduate school.
A more overt California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted in Georgetown lunching at Martin’s Tavern after his appearance on ABC’s “This Week.” Our spies say the California governor then went shopping with his daughter, an undergraduate at Georgetown University, at the Ralph Lauren and Urban Outfitters stores.
