Finding a friend at Fox News has been hard for rapper Ludacris.
Bill O’Reilly, who frequently targets the rapper on “The O’Reilly Factor,” recently referred to Ludacris as an artist who “makes money smearing people and feeding children corrupt images.” (In 2002, O’Reilly initiated a Pepsi boycott when Ludacris was signed to the brand.)
And Ludacris has fired back with his lyrics: “Hi Mr. O’Reilly, hope all is well, kiss the plaintiff and the wifey.” He even mocked the pundit at the 2007 Grammy Awards.
But lucky for him, he may have found a little affection from “On the Record” host Greta Van Susteren.
At the Ludacris Foundation luncheon at the National Press Club, Van Susteren told his mother she had him all wrong. She went even further to say she was blown away by how Ludacris had the entire table eating out of his hand at the event.
“It is true that I had no idea that he has done so much charity,” Van Susteren confirmed to Yeas & Nays. “This does not mean that I, in any way, find his lyrics OK. I find his lyrics offensive. I told him that.”
