Just weeks after D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty’s mountain bikes were stolen from his garage in Crestwood, someone has stolen Jenna Bush Hager’s bikes as well.
Baltimore police say two bikes worth about $3,500 combined were taken from Hager’s garage Friday afternoon, the Associated Press reported.
Hager lives in a Federal Hill row house with her husband, but police say neither of them were home when the burglary occurred. There is no evidence that the burglar knew it was her home.
Officers were called after an alarm went off, but didn’t notice anything wrong. Later, a neighbor checked the house and reported the bikes missing. Once they came back to reinvestigate, police found pry marks on the door leading into the garage.
