71 percent: The number of New Yorkers in a non-scientific survey done by the Daily Beast that said the news of “Weinergate” hadn’t changed their opinions of Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y.
Slightly more than a quarter of the 100 people surveyed believe he sent the questionable photo from his Twitter account, but 43 percent think someone else did it — and the rest don’t seem to care, echoing the congressman’s lack of “certitude” about whether the shot in question was his or not.
