Jill Stein: Hillary is more dangerous than Trump

Green Party candidate Jill Stein isn’t giving into the idea that she’s a spoiler candidate. She’d much rather fight for a political revolution that ends binary elections in the U.S., and she isn’t afraid to call it like she sees it.

During a Politico Podcast she called the choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, “death by gunshot or death by strangulation.”

While she slammed Trump and said he may have a series of different health issues including physical, mental, and memory problems, she saved her most cutting criticisms for Clinton.

“Donald Trump, I think, will have a lot of trouble moving things through Congress,” Stein told Politico. “Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, won’t. … Hillary has the potential to do a whole lot more damage, get us into more wars faster, to pass her fracking disastrous climate program, much more easily than Donald Trump could do his.”

Stein also had some harsh criticism for Bernie Sanders. She slammed the Vermont senator for refusing to continue his revolution with an independent run.

“I’ve tried to talk with Bernie, but, you know, Bernie is — he is a team player,” she continued. “I think he’s on the wrong team, perhaps because he’s been in Washington, D.C. too long, because he used to really understand independent politics and why we cannot have a viable political system unless we have independent political parties. … Maybe it’s a generational thing.”

Liberal activists and Democratic insiders have gone from ignoring Stein to openly hating her. Unfunny comedian Samantha Bee slammed her and refused to even show her picture. A senior aide to Clinton acknowledged the real threat the Green Party and Gary Johnson pose to the Democrats: winning a majority of the millennial vote.
