Napolitano refuses to use email, calls it ‘inefficient’

THE HILL- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said on Tuesday that she refuses to use email because it is “inefficient” and it “sucks up time.”

Napolitano’s lack of email use has left many inside the smartphone-obsessed Beltway wondering how she can survive without it.

“I think email just sucks up time,” said Napolitano to a room full of reporters at a breakfast hosted by The Christian Science Monitor in downtown Washington, D.C.

“You’re all nodding and laughing, but you know I speak truth,” she said.
