“Invasion of the Body Snatchers” will get a political remake if First Lady Michelle Obama ever decides to run for a political office, at least according to her husband.
President Barack Obama sat down with ABC’s Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan for an interview that aired Friday morning and squashed any idea of Michelle’s future political aspirations.

“In 10 years from now, if Mrs. Obama turns to you and announces that she wants to run for office, what would your honest reaction be?” Ripa asked.
“I would say, ‘Where did you take my wife?'” Obama said. “I was sure that there had been an alien body-snatching going on. One thing I can promise you is that Michelle will not run for office.”
Michelle has been an active First Lady during her husband’s two terms as president. She is best known for her attempts at school lunch reform and other anti-obesity efforts, as well as a failed play at hashtag activism.
The ABC interview with the president also included interview questions about Obama’s morning routine (he wakes up at 7 a.m. and works out before his morning briefing on national security); his relationship with Hillary Clinton (“we are really, really good friends,” Obama said); and on Obama’s definition of a “great leader.” Obama listed vision, judgment, and persistence as the top qualities needed to be a “great President.”
