Neil Patrick Harris channels a bit of his jerk-ish “How I Met Your Mother” character Barney Stinson in the first advertisement for the 2015 Oscars.
“This holiday season, give your family a gift they’ll never forget,” the actor says with a smile. “Instead of traditional presents, give them the gift of simply telling them to watch me host the Oscars.”
